Ultrasound aims to build
a free ultrasound educational website by linking to quality
information sites in the various ultrasound groups.
Ultrasound
is a
very broad topic and can be broken down into various groups. The three
main groups are Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiology and
Cardiology.
There are also new disciplines discovering the usefulnesss of
ultrasound as seen in Emergency Medicine and Rheumatology. Then of
course there are
the companies who sell ultrasound equipment as well as the patients who
experience the actual ultrasound examination. We also can't forget the
other species living on planet earth which brings us Veterinary
ultrasound.
